i have been in restaurants for a long time and i have a passion for cooking and a very good concept for a new restaurant at lest i think so. the problem is money. my question is how do i go about finding an investor. Your best bet is to submit your business plan or executive summary to someone that can help point you in the right direction. My suggestion would be to get yourself listed on Fundingpost.com where your business will be placed in front of hundreds of potential investors. We've used funding post for many years to identify new investment opportunities and that's the best place to start. I've said this before as I've answered some other questions on here, but it's a good place to start and gain exposure. However, be prepared to explain exactly what your business is, why its different and why you believe it will be a success. The restaurant business is a tough one and many investors, at some point along their careers, have been involved with a restaurant and few have anything good to say. Your business really needs to be different or you have to have identified a top location, etc. - something that differentiates you from the millions of other places out there. permalink: Spread the word!
